Benjamin (“Ben”) Yamada joined Milgrom Daskam & Ellis as an Associate in September 2025 after two stints with the firm as a Clerk during law school. Ben splits his time between the Civil Litigation and Health Law practices. Before joining Milgrom Daskam & Ellis, Ben gained valuable legal experience with a prominent multinational law firm. Ben earned his J.D. at the University of Colorado in 2025. During his time in Boulder, Ben served on the Honor Council as its Secretary and contributed to the Colorado Law Review as a Senior Associate Editor. Ben advocated for just causes in the tech space as a student-attorney with the Samuelson-Glushko Technology Law & Policy Clinic.

Ben is both a proud Buffalo and a proud Husky, having earned a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Washington in Seattle in 2021. At the University of Washington, Ben excelled at an introductory law course, which was known as a weed-out class notorious in UW circles for its difficulty. This set Ben on his path to law school.

Ben is a music lover and enjoys adding to his record collection in his spare time. You may also find him in the weightroom pushing for his next PR. Ben’s favorite pastime of all is doting on his niece and nephew.
