Cooper Tollen

Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Cooper is a 3L at the University of Colorado Law School.

Cooper joins Milgrom & Daskam as a law clerk where he works in the corporate, intellectual property and real estate practice groups. Cooper previously practiced as a student attorney with the school’s Technology Law and Policy Clinic, where he fought for consumer protections at the FCC on behalf of the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind communities. Cooper also worked for the legal department of CSG Systems International, a Denver-based payment solution and revenue management provider. In his role with CSG, Cooper advised on changing data privacy issues in different regions of the world and protected the company’s intellectual property against infringement.

Prior to law school, Cooper received his B.A. in political science from Emory University in 2017. While at Emory, Cooper was the captain of the men’s swimming and diving team and helped lead the team to its first ever national championship in 2017.

In his spare time, Cooper enjoys all types of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, snowboarding, and backpacking. He is an avid cook and loves trying new recipes (and eating them of course). When at home he spends his time listening to records and playing with his cat, Hobbes.
