Adam Hubbard counsels clients on how to best develop, protect, manage, and monetize their intellectual property. He focuses on serving the needs of startups, high-growth companies, and other stakeholders who must address the challenges and opportunities of emerging technologies and business models. His work spans numerous industries, including tech, software, wireless, manufacturing, space, and health tech.

Before joining Milgrom & Daskam, Adam was a member of the intellectual property group at Holland & Hart, LLP. There he managed complex intellectual property and antitrust litigation for his clients. He also helped manage intellectual property portfolios and develop comprehensive IP strategies.  Before that, Adam clerked for the Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and a federal District Judge at the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Those positions provided him with invaluable experience regarding persuasion, effective advocacy, and the evolving legal trends affecting intellectual property and innovation.

Prior to his law career, Adam performed quantum computing research and obtained his master’s degree for work done on experimental quantum error control techniques.

Outside of the office, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, playing hockey, and working on their small hobby farm in Boulder county.

Adam obtained his Juris Doctorate from Cornell Law School, his Master of Science from the University of Waterloo, and his Bachelor of Science degree from Walla Walla University.
